What to expect...

Before

  • Before you arrive to your scheduled appointment please be aware that you should brush and floss before your visit! You also want to make sure that you have had a healthy meal before arriving as your after care instructions will suggest that you stay away from certain foods that can stain your teeth after your session is complete.

  • Also be prepared to stay with your teeth whitening technician for at least 30 minutes additional to your appointment time. The additional 30 minutes will include time to sign your consent form and to ask any last minutes questions before treatment. All young people under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult and have an adult/legal guardian's signature on the treatment form.

After

  • After your teeth whitening session is complete you will be on what we call a "White Diet!"...LOL...We know, We know...it's like what is that? So, to make it simple, it means that for the next 48 hours you will not have any colored food. All white food is to be expected for consumption for the next 48 hours after your treatment. The only white food you can not have for 48 hours will be bread! If you have any colored food before the 48 hour window is up you can run the risk of staining your teeth even worse than they were before your treatment.

  • All clients have a 4 month resting period before they can have more sessions completed. This time frame gives the enamel time to heal and rebuild. At the conclusion of your appointment there will be after care products available to help you maintain your treatment results throughout the coming months. Continue to brush and floss as you normally would. Keeping up with your treatments like you do your cleanings at the dentist will help to maintain not only a healthy smile but, a whiter one too!
